Overall description
This is a client project I made for Acthound during my summer internship in 2020. I was tasked to make a background motion graphic for their in-person August 2020 showcase.
Planning + Process
When making this motion graphic, I decided that I wanted to make a strictly vector style for this motion media project because I haven’t made one before at the time. I made sketches of various simplistic objects that are associated with theatre and filming, such as a camera, a stage light, a clapboard, etc. I even sketched out small storyboards to plan the motion of the project. Then I took detailed sketches and traced over them in Illustrator and imported the objects into After Effects and animated them.
